The conference was hosted by Universiteit Norrland and co-organised by ECSB and EIASM. The main theme for the conference was “Entrepreneurial and Business and Society”.

The occasion was celebrated with the publication of a booklet recalling those people and events that have led to growth of this organisation. During the history of RENT it has changed and developed in a way that the conference itself is no longer just a conference as it now features many additional activities such as the Policy Forum, the Doctoral Consortium, the Post-Doc Roundtable and the Case Writing Workshop.

Through a live streaming, the people who had missed the conference this year, had a change to feel and listen the opening plenary, entrepreneurship panel as well as a key note speech. The material is still available

Further information about the RENT XXV conference can be read at the ECSB website

The next RENT Conference will take place in Lyon, France, on November 2012.

Indeed, within the global ICSB family, ECSB has regularly been the affiliate that has led the way with initiatives such as webinars, social media webpages, and the live streaming of conference speeches. Possibly the most exciting development is about to happen as we move from the delivery of hard copies of the Journal of Small Business Management to online access.

By the first week of October, all ECSB members will have a profile on the Wiley website at http://www.wiley.com/. As part of this process, each member will receive a specifically tailored email from Wiley with important log-on information for your new account. Members will be asked to access the Wiley website through their , which hosts the world's broadest and deepest multidisciplinary collection of online resources covering life, health and physical sciences, social science, and the humanities. The Journal of Small Business Management (JSBM) is housed here and will be available for free to ECSB members only for months covering your membership period. At the end of your membership period, account access rights will be withdrawn and you will no longer be able to access the site unless your membership is renewed. JSBM Online features an archive of editions dating back to 2001 with complete HTML and PDF formats.

ECSB is the first affiliate to offer its Members this online access and it will give you the opportunity to have greater access to resources through your membership of our organisation.

50% Exclusive Discount for ECSB Members: Historical Foundations of Entrepreneurship Research

Landström, H. & Lohrke, F.
