The results of the 3rd ECSB Case Studies Competition were announced at the RENT XXII Conference in Covilhã. The competition was open exclusively to members of ECSB and ICSB, and it was sponsored by the Research Strategy Unit (Faculty of Business) at the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT).

Again, the winners were announced at the final plenary session of the RENT XXII Conference. The winners of the competition were as follows:

• 1st prize €2,500: Breda McCarthy - Kerry Geo Park, University College Cork, Ireland
• 2nd prize €1,500: Luca Iandoli and Maria Sansone - Premiato Pastificio Afeltra, University of Naples, Italy
• 3rd prize €500: Thierry Volery - ProBiotec, University of St Gallen, Swizerland

Thank you to all who entered (highest number of entries ever for ECSB Case Competition) and also to the Faculty of Business at the Dublin Institute of Technology who have sponsored all of the ECSB Case Competitions since 2004.
