
The
RENT XVIII took place in Copenhagen on the 25th - 26th of November and was organised by
the LOK Research Center. The main theme and slogan for RENT XVIII was:
Managing Complexity and Change in SMEs. The papers presented dealt with several themes from New Challenges for SMEs and Entrepreneurship Research to Entrepreneurship Education.
In the final plenary session, the winners of the Case Study Competition were announced. In addition, the first
Inter-RENT Publication was launched. The bes paper award was given to Ms. Johanna Pulkkinen from University of Vaasa, Finland on her paper:
Internationalization of New Ventures- Mediating Role of Entrepreneur and Top Management Team Experience.
The winners of the special LOK Research Center Award are (given at the Gala Dinner): Ted Fuller (Teesside Business School - University of Teesside, U.K.) and Lorraine Warren (Institute of Entrepreneurship, University of Southampton, U.K, with the paper:
"Complex Explanations of Order Creation, Emergence and Sustainability as Situated Entrepreneurship".
