RENT - Research in Entrepreneurship and Small Business -conference is organised every year in co-operation with EIASM (European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management). The practical arrangements are taken care by EIASM and the local organisers, where as ECSB supports the scientific organisation of the conference and promotes the conference.

The RENT XVII conference in 2003 was organised in Lodz, Poland and was hosted by the University of Lodz. The RENT XVIII took place in Copenhagen and was organised by the LOK Research Center. In 2005 the conference, RENT XIX, was organised in Naples, Italy. The RENT XX was celebrating the 20th anniversary of what has become Europe's premier research conference in the field of entrepreneurship. In 2007, the RENT XXI was held in Cardiff, the UK. RENT XXII, in 2008 took place in Covilhã, Portugal. The next conference, RENT XXIII will take place in Budapest, Hungary.
