| THE STUCTURE OF THE ORGANISATION |

The European Council is a non-profit organisation whose members commit their professional competence for organisation work to win over the support of institutional partners. Elections ensure rotation and give each member of ECSB the possibility to play a leading part in the Council´s organisation: as Country Vice President, as a member of the Board of Directors or the Executive Committee and as the President of ECSB.
The President of ECSB is currently Professor Friederike Welter from University of Siegen, School of Economic Disciplines Department of Business Administration Management of SMEs. Her term of office is from 1st July, 2007 to 30th of June, 2009.
Board Responsibility Areas
Certain core activities have been appointed as responsibility areas for ECSB Board members. The idea is to render the Board more transparent and accessible for single ECSB member as well as to promote and increase membership, especially among younger researchers and in countries where ECSB has a minor representation.

The Executive Committee consists of three members:
- The President
- The Past-President, and
- The President-Elect
The Board of Directors consists of three members of the Executive Committee and 6 other members.
The Country VPs are the link between ECSB and its members in different countries.
The Secretariat of ECSB is in charge of the daily routines of ECSB. Please contact us in matters concerning e.g. membership. |
