The European Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ECSB) is a non-profit organization whose main objective is to advance the understanding of entrepreneurship and to improve the competitiveness of SMEs in Europe. The ECSB is an affiliation to the ICSB (International Council for Small Business).
RENT XXII Conference will take place in Covilhã, Portugal, on November 20-21, 2008. The conference will be hosted by University of Beira Interior and co-organised by ECSB and EIASM. The main theme for the conference is
”Entrepreneurship as an Engine for Regional Development”.
The ICSB 2009 World Conference will be held in Seoul, Republic of Korea, in June 21-24, 2009. The conference is co-hosted by Korea Small Business Institute (KOSBI), the ICSB Affiliate for Korea. The theme of the conference is "The Dynamism of Small Business".
ECSB is delighted to announce a new Competition for Case Studies in Entrepreneurship. The competition is open exclusively to members of ECSB and ICSB, and it is sponsored by the Research Strategy Unit (Faculty of Business) at the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT).
The closing date for submission of entries has been extended to September 28th 2008, and the winners will be announced at the RENT Conference in November 2008.
ECSB Members area includes several features which are only available for the members of ECSB. Also included are News and Newsletters for members and discussion forums to exchange your ideas.
